Ogre spotted at Holbeton
Many children around the globe complain their Head Teacher behaves like an ogre, but Holbeton's head actually ended up looking like one too for World Book Day 2017! There was a whole host of characters brought to life by children and staff alike. Please see the Gallery for all the photos - you can even play 'Where's Wally?'
The day started with an amazing Assembly where we met the whole spectrum of characters from the cute and cuddly Paddington Bear to the ghastly and scary ghouls. Gangster Gran was even there, still evading the police! The whole day was packed full of book related activities. The favourite for the children was sharing books with each other in our beautifully revamped library. Roll on next year - who will you be then?
