Holbeton Pre-school and primary school stand at Yealmpton was a hit with the judges as well as visitors on Wednesday, as it won 2nd prize in the trade stand competition. The light, open sided tent gave some welcome shade to families with over heated and fractious children who enjoyed playing with toys and a sand pit, and decorating cakes.  Meanwhile the parents enjoyed the display of forest school and beach school photographs, and chatted with governors, parents, and some pupils about how Holbeton integrates regular outdoor learning into the school day.
